Portland Terminal
The Portland, Oregon terminal offers north–south and east–west Interstates, large marine shipping facilities, and both west coast intercontinental railroads. This terminal performs many of the same freight services as the other larger HFS terminals: dry cargo consolidation, less than container loads, full container loads, transloading, and container hauling.
HFS Portland is located 9 miles North of downtown Portland, 7 miles South of Vancouver, WA, and just 3 miles West of the I5 freeway. Dry cargo is consolidated at the Portland terminal, and loaded to the ocean containers which are then trucked to the Port of Seattle, approximately 170 miles north, for the weekly ship to Hawaii.
